Spring is on the horizon in California and singles are feeling ready to mingle! Our intention at Maclynn International is to keep romance in bloom, even through the most challenging of times. As we begin to re-emerge and safely socialize, we are tickled to share some of our favorite San Francisco date ideas for both freshly budding and fully blossomed couples.

Lover’s Lane – Take a stroll hand in hand down this historic Presidio trail dating back to the 1800s. An easy footpath once traversed by soldiers that would return home to their sweethearts after long bouts from their war post at Mission Dolores. Nature lovers will adore the fragrant forest landscape of the eucalyptus trees and the interesting log art installation along the pedestrian path.

Foreign Cinema – Dine under the twinkling lights of this highly-raved about venue now offering private dining events. It’s San Francisco Chronicle’s “Top 100 Restaurants” for eighteen consecutive years, tucked in an entertainment quarter of the city it’s perfect for a pre or post toast theatre performance. The drama doesn’t stop there, each meal tells a story and provides a sensual dining experience that tantalizes all the senses.

Red & White Fleet Cruise – Sail around the Bay area at sunset with a live band and a floating dance floor. Cruise from bridge to bridge that docks at Fisherman’s Wharf for a crab seafood feast at The Franciscan and cap the night with a sweet treat from the infamous Ghirardelli Chocolate Factory.

Smuggler’s Cove – Escape the urban streets of SF and transport into the past in this fascinating, underground tiki bar. Explore the history of the pirate outlaws who smuggled prohibitions across the seven seas and salut with Caribbean rum craft cocktails.

Palace of Fine Arts – Awe at the Greco-Roman architecture & watch a cultural performance at this iconic Marina location. After perusing the walking paths around the rotunda, then relax on the green gardens for a picnic paired with intellectual conversations.

Black Cat – Have a jazzy night at this swanky supper club in the Tenderloin district. Dubbed one of the most romantic venues in San Francisco, enjoy the vibrant live music, sharable bites and buzzing beverages. Cavallo Point -Take a drive over the infamous Golden Gate Bridge, for a luxury lodging experience with impeccable views of the city skyline. Book a hands-on class at Cavallo’s impressive cooking school and create a culinary masterpiece together. Then bike around the impressive headlands or unwind with the lodge’s wellness programs including acupuncture, meditation and couples’ massages.

Coit Tower – A notable landmark perched at the top of Telegraph Hill, trek up to the top and take in the stunning panoramic city views. Explore other popular sights by Trolley Cars, spot the street murals of the Mission District and sit at the quirky Dolores Park to people watch for an amusing laugh together.

Onsen SF – For a truly intimate experience, try the unique dining and bathing experience of Onsen.
