What is your favorite thing about being a matchmaker?

I love witnessing those moments when two people truly see each other, when all the effort, insight, and intuition behind the introductions pay off. It’s incredibly rewarding to know you’ve played a small part in helping someone find genuine connection and happiness. Every success story feels deeply personal, and that never gets old.

How did you get into matchmaking?

I’ve dreamed of being a matchmaker since 2015, inspired after watching Patti Stanger on Millionaire Matchmaker. At the time, I was running a social media management business and writing a dating blog. While I enjoyed the creative side of my work, I realized my true passion lay in helping singles find meaningful connections. That blog evolved into a coaching business, which eventually led me to matchmaking.

I initially focused on helping clients shift their mindsets around dating and relationships. Over time, many began asking for more hands-on support, for me to actively help them meet the right person. To deepen my expertise, I attended a professional matchmaking conference, which is where I first connected with Maclynn. From there, my journey as a matchmaker truly began.

Tell us about your life outside of work?

You’ll usually find me exploring charming New England towns with my husband, taking long walks with our dog, or seeking out new restaurants to try. I’ve always loved travelling and creating memorable experiences with my family. Our most recent adventure was a Christmas Market tour that started in Paris and took us through Germany, into Prague, down to Vienna, and back to Strasbourg. It was absolutely magical and the perfect mix of culture, food, and festive spirit.

So you’ve met your own true match?

I met my husband, ironically, the same year I launched my blog as a coaching service. Our first date was about six months in and it was amazing to experience firsthand the very principles I was teaching my clients. I’ve always believed in practicing what I preach, so being able to demonstrate in real time how my advice applied in the modern dating world, with apps and social media changing everything, was incredibly rewarding.

Do you like hearing how your clients’ dates went?

Absolutely! It’s one of the best parts of the job. Hearing how a date went gives such valuable insight into chemistry, compatibility, and what truly matters to each person. Whether it’s excitement after a great connection or clarity about what didn’t feel right, those conversations help me refine the process and get even closer to finding their perfect match. Plus, it’s just lovely sharing in their stories, especially when you can tell something special might be starting.
